David M. Rubinstein is a seasoned and methodical litigator with over a decade of experience representing defendants and plaintiffs in complex commercial, securities, government, business, class action, intellectual property (trade secrets), bankruptcy, and employment matters.
Mr. Rubinstein handles private litigations and arbitrations, including shareholder derivative actions, proceedings before government and regulatory enforcement agencies, including the SEC and FINRA, and government, regulatory, and internal investigations on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Rubinstein has significant hands-on litigation experience representing a wide range of clients, including some of the largest financial institutions in the world, multi-national companies, investment firms, private individuals, public and privately held corporations, directors, officers, and shareholders, in a broad range of industries, including financial services, private equity, legal services, and insurance. Mr. Rubinstein also has extensive experience representing global financial services companies, issuers, hedge funds, and individuals in connection with government, regulatory, and internal investigations concerning a variety of issues, including securities fraud, Regulation M violations, market manipulation, and accounting improprieties.
Mr. Rubinstein actively manages and is involved in all facets of litigations and investigations and routinely advises clients including in-house counsel and high-level executives, on how to achieve their desired results in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Moreover, Mr. Rubinstein has significant experience developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risks and exposure to clients and ensure their compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Prior to joining Ryan Law Partners LLP, Mr. Rubinstein served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at Cantor Fitzgerald Securities and practiced litigation at elite New York litigation boutiques.
Mr. Rubinstein graduated from Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences, in 2002 and received his Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law in 2007.
